Jeremy enjoys the physicality of the carvings process, his sculptures pose the durable nature of rock and wood against the soft transience of fabric, for example pillows, socks and cloth. Many of his subjects have been used and discarded or forgotten, and during the carving process they seem to gather new purpose.

Menna’s work originates from a fascination with the subtle implications possible in still life. Her current work, inspired by human associations with everyday objects, investigates pillows – our compliant and intimate companions which we take for granted. From painting the fabric of pillows, she has been drawn to cloth itself and its infinity of possible allusions.
